<image:caption>Kristy’s therapeutic foundation was shaped through her training with Virginia Satir, author and therapist known especially for her approach to family therapy and her pioneering work in the field of family reconstruction. She is widely regarded as the "Mother of Family Therapy.” Kristy was blessed to attend her training sessions throughout the late 1970s and early 1980s in small group settings. In addition, Kristy attended training with Albert Ellis, an influential psychologist who developed Rational Emotive Behavior therapy and played a vital role in the cognitive revolution that took place in the field of psychotherapy and helped influence the rise of cognitive-behavioral approaches as a treatment approach. Kristy comes from Wyoming pioneers who moved to Wyoming when it was still a territory. Her Great Great Grandfather Robinson moved to Kemmerer Wyoming from Pennsylvania in 1865 as the first mining inspector in Granger Wyoming. Later her Great grandmother, Annie Robinson married Jim Davison and together they build a sizable ranch beginning with a homestead in 1910 in Kemmerer Wyoming. Kristy feels great pride that the ranch continues to remain in the family and is in full operation. With Wyoming deep in her blood, Kristy was eager to bring her knowledge, experience, passion, and entrepreneurial spirit to Wyoming where she belonged all along.</image:caption>
